Physical Therpy For Injuries and Pain in Westboro, NJ

If there's one universal truth in life, it's that it can be unpredictable. Everyone experiences unexpected events that throw us off. While some surprises may only affect our bank accounts, such as home expenses, others can cause physical harm, such as car accidents that result in long-term pain and discomfort. Many Americans suffer from chronic neck and back pain - according to research, half of Americans over 18 develop musculoskeletal injuries that last longer than a year. These injuries often cause a range of mobility issues that make everyday tasks seem hard to do. Unfortunately, many people with chronic pain turn to addictive medications and invasive surgeries for relief, which tends to lead to further complications.

The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCure Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

LLLT has shown promising results for challenging conditions that other treatments can't match. Some of the most common conditions treated include:

  • Muscle Pain
  • Pain from Tendinopathy

Understanding the Powerful Benefits of Ice Compression Therapy

 Sciatica Pain Therapy Westboro, NJ

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

WESTBOROUGH — After opening a Jersey Mike's Subs shop last November at 120 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury, owner Tyler Tombs is set to open a second location at Westborough's 9 West Plaza on 1 Oak St. later this month.

With finishing touches from inspections to deliveries on track, Tombs said he hopes to hold the shop's grand opening May 25.

More:From the famous shore to Central Mass., Jersey Mike's Subs finds a spot in Shrewsbury

"I decided to open a second shop because Shrewsbury has been so successful and I believe there is a ton of potential to bring the Jersey Mike's brand and product to a greater swath of the Central Massachusetts market," said Tombs, a Boston College graduate.

Tombs said he believes there's a lot of demand in the Central Massachusetts market for Jersey Mike's, because of the prominent national marketing and recognition of the brand over the last couple of years.

Once the Shrewsbury location opened, the shop as well as the brand itself brought in customers to try its products, thus turning many into regular customers, Tombs said.

The shop has also given back to the community since its opening. It raised money during its grand opening for the Shrewsbury High School athletics department, and also held various other fundraisers for local community groups.

Its biggest fundraiser was during Jersey Mike's national Month of Giving campaign in March, Tombs said. The entire chain raised $20 million for the Special Olympics, with Tombs' Shrewsbury store raising over $16,500 — including $13,000 on the March 30 Day of Giving event, when 100% of sales went to the Special Olympics.

"With a second location, I will also be able to give my team members growth opportunities to train and develop into managerial roles and really take on the task of mirroring the success that we created together in Shrewsbury in the new Westborough location," he said.

The charity partner of the Westborough shop's grand opening is the BORO Program, which provides transition-related programming for Westborough Public School students ages 18 to 22 with special needs.

As the grand opening approaches, Tombs' said his team will also be in the community handing out "free sub with a $3 donation" cards, where customers will get a free sub when they donate $3 to the BORO Program.

Music stations voice tracking and going automated to get rid of DJs and talk stations filling up their dayparts with cookie-cutter national syndicated shows instead of serving the local market like New Jersey 101.5 has always done has reduced positions big time.

Maybe it’s happened in your industry, too. You might wonder what’s growing instead of shrinking.

Well, there’s a recently released report from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics that sheds light on New Jersey. If you want to know what the top 10 fastest-growing jobs are in the Garden State keep reading.

Massage therapists: This has seen 126% growth in the past 10 years.

Packers and package handlers: With the explosion of Amazon and online shopping this is no surprise. 134% growth in ten years.

Medical scientists: Excludes epidemiologists. 168% growth.

Natural science managers: Yeah, I didn’t know what it was either. They basically supervise the work of scientists, chemists, biologists, etc.. 172% growth.

Financial examiners: They ensure institutions handling monetary transactions are compliant with governing laws. That field has seen 180% growth in ten years.

Physician assistants: I guess this shouldn’t surprise us since that’s who we see half the time when we’re expecting a doctor to walk in. 185% growth in ten years.

Concierges: 216% growth in 10 years. The downside is the average annual salary is only $31,510 but we’ll assume it’s a heavily tipped occupation.

Protective service workers: This is what you used to know as DYFS. A social worker. Low pay but 263% growth.

Operations research analyst: That’s all about crunching numbers and improving business operations. 359% growth over ten years.

Food prep and serving: 470% growth in ten years.

Falling just out of the top ten are fields like business teachers, chemical equipment operators, pest control workers and manicurists.

Vijay Kattineni, Venugopal Pittala and Prasad Lakkala opened the Paradise Biryani Pointe restaurant over Thanksgiving weekend at 127 Turnpike Road (Route 9) in Westboro. The trio is subleasing the building from First Westborough Realty Trust.

The Dunkin' Donuts that had occupied the building moved a mile west, into the new Xtra Mart gas station.

Paradise Biryani Pointe is "an Indian restaurant chain with its signature biryani specialities in Moghlai and Tandoor food," according to its website. While the menu includes a wide selection of Indian specialties, the focus is on the popular Indian dish that combines basmati rice with spices, meat and vegetables.

"Biryani is a certain style of cooking," said Mr. Kattineni. "That's our main dish. It's very slowly cooked. It takes hours and hours to cook the meat."

Raj Gowlikar opened the first Paradise in 2007 in Edison, N.J., where he, too, gave up software programming to dive into the restaurant business and follow his passion for cooking biryani.

"There was no good biryani available in the market," he said.

Shortly afterward, he expanded to a second in New Brunswick, N.J.

"My restaurant specialized in the 500-year-old Indian Nawabi delicacy called biryani," said Mr. Gowlikar, "but had other items on the menu. I was always very passionate about food and cooking."

Paradise Biryani Pointe quickly expanded to 40 restaurants across the county within six years. Ten more are "in the pipeline," said Mr. Gowlikar, and will open within three months.

All restaurants are supplied with Mr. Gowlikar's special — and secret — blend of spices for the biryani dishes. The spice combo is crucial to the success of Paradise Biryani Pointe, he said.

After hearing about the success of the chain, Mr. Kattineni, Mr. Pittala and Mr. Lakkala met with Mr. Gowlikar, hoping to capitalize on the idea and bring the dish to a community that includes a growing Indian population in MetroWest.

"We knew about the restaurant potential," said Mr. Kattineni, "and, keeping in mind the demographics of the area, we thought it would be a major achievement and very successful. I can't say we are 100 percent knowledgable. He gave us some valuable tips, and that's how we started. We are confident."

The expansive menu offers vegetarian selections, appetizers, goat and chicken entrees, seafood and its culinary spotlight, Hyd Dum Biryani dishes. While much of the menu is dictated by franchise requirements, Chef Raj Yuvi has some freedom to fiddle with the menu and an opportunity to offer his own specials and dishes.

"Chef Raj knows all about this style of cooking," said Mr. Kattineni, who added that the Paradise franchise helps franchisees find chefs for their locations. "We have a full-sized menu, but the biryani is the most famous. He (Mr. Raj) knows everything and is well-versed. He knows all the different spices that need to be added and the spice levels and the right ingredients to give it flavor."

To convert the space, the owners hired a construction team to gut and renovate the former doughnut shop, which required redesigning and expanding the dining area and drastically updating the kitchen to include gas ranges, a dishwasher and extensive plumbing.

"The dining room was a major overhaul," said Mr. Kattineni. "We had to remove the whole counter."

There is now seating for 42 patrons, an increase from the 24 that Dunkin' Donuts had. Since a drive-thru window already existed on the property, Kattineni said they decided to keep it and use it. While it won't operate like fast food, customers can call ahead and drive up to the window to pick up their orders.

"As far as we know, there is no other Indian restaurant around that does that," said Mr. Kattineni. "The window was already there; we might as well use it."

Mr. Kattineni says that not only is the new restaurant in a prime location, but it is a particular attraction to the prominent Indian community in the area.

"It's going very good right now," said Mr. Kattineni. "We are just breaking into this business and we're really satisfied. We think by spring and summer, it will pick up even more. People don't like to come out in the cold weather, but when it's warmer, they come out. We have our hands full, and it's very busy."
