If there's one universal truth in life, it's that it can be unpredictable. Everyone experiences unexpected events that throw us off. Many Americans suffer from chronic neck and back pain - according to research, half of Americans over 18 develop musculoskeletal injuries that last longer than a year. These injuries often cause a range of mobility issues that make everyday tasks seem hard to do. The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCureâ„¢ Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

LLLT has shown promising results for challenging conditions that other treatments can't match. Some of the most common conditions treated include:

  • Muscle Pain
  • Pain from Tendinopathy
  • Osteoarthritis Pain
  • Swollen Joints
  • Myofascial Pain

Understanding the Powerful Benefits of Ice Compression Therapy

Sciatica Pain Therapy Spring Lake Heights, NJ

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

SPRING LAKE, NJ – It was a patriotic event, an American Flag, next to a Monmouth County Flag, waving in the ocean breeze, as the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners officially welcomed the summer tourism season at a press conference with community partners on Tuesday. The event was held at 11:30 a.m., at the North End Pavilion, on the boardwalk in Spring Lake. The backdrop for the event included waves crashing on the sandy beach, under a sunny sky. The event opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon.

They all have their own personalities and offerings to residents and visitors alike.” Mayor Naughton wore a dress and accessories that she said were all purchased from shopping at Spring Lake's many boutiques.

BELMAR, NJ — Belmar’s Fire Marshal Ryan Dullea has announced he will be stepping down from the position. Dullea has worked as Belmar’s Fire Marshal for six years and a firefighter for even longer. He’s also worked as the Fire Marshal for Lake Como, Spring Lake, and Spring Lake Heights. In addition, Dullea works as a full-time firefighter in Westfield, New Jersey.

“I am grateful to the people whom I've been privileged to work with over the years, who've shared their knowledge and skills with me, and I'll miss you all terribly,” Dullea’s Facebook post read. “I would like to thank my family especially my wife for always supporting me and tolerating the commitments required to successfully complete the job requirements. Those included but were not limited to weekly late-night phone calls or call-outs, meetings, and classes.”

Dullea has seen great success as a Fire Marshal, including being recognized as Monmouth County Fire Prevention Inspector of the Year in 2019. According to Dullea, it’s a role that “prevent fires, and protect citizens, employees and business owners, and most importantly, the firefighters who respond to emergencies.”

“We want to wish (Dullea) well,” Mayor Gerald Buccafusco said at a recent council meeting. “He has worked for the town for many years, and he will be missed. Congratulations Ryan.”

“I would also like to thank all my friends and co-workers who supported and provided insight and assistance at all hours of the day or night,” Dullea added. “Great things are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people. I was very fortunate to work with and alongside some of the best professionals in the area and in the business.”

I'm not going to lie to you. This one is going to hurt.

We do have another business closing at the Jersey Shore but the fact that it is a local grocery store chain puts a knot in my stomach.

The store is called Nature's Corner Natural Market and they specialize in, "organic produce sourced from local farmers, organic natural groceries, milk, dairy and meats. It also has an organic juice bar, organic soup and salad bar, prepared foods, nutritional supplements and body care products," according to Yahoo.com.

Wow. I almost feel healthier just from writing all that but of course a local business supporting other local businesses is going under.

The owner, Ed Levy posted about the sad news on social media.

"After nearly 30 years of being in business, I have made the difficult decision to close Nature’s Corner for good," Levy wrote. "Many factors played a role in this decision; COVID, the hiring crisis, wage increases, inflation, recession and competition from big box stores. The list goes on, but I won’t bore you all with the details."

"Nature's Corner has always been a truly special place, for staff members and customers alike," Levy wrote. "It has been a sanctuary where people can come and escape from the divisiveness of the outside world while getting the highest quality natural products available. Especially during the last few years."

"And you, our dear customers, have made that a possibility over the last 30 years, and I (and all of the staff members) am eternally grateful to you."

This story is just breaking my heart because the only two existing store locations are closing.

According to Yahoo.com, the Nature's Corner Natural Market stores that are closing are located, "on Route 71 in Spring Lake Heights and [on Locust Avenue] at the West Long Branch Shopping Center."

The exact closing dates for both locations will be set in the next few weeks, per Levy's post.

Yes, there are other grocery store options in both of these areas and they include ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Aldi's and Trader Joe's.

But that is not the point.

A grocery store, yes a GROCERY STORE, is going out of business. The place we have to go to for food, something we need to survive can't make it in this economy.

That is a scary fact to face.

Nothing is safe.

The land has been occupied since the early 1700s. It's been used as a mill, a music conservatory and a restaurant. Now, The Mill at Spring Lake Heights has a new owner and a slightly new name.

The Truesdale family, which owns Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, has bought The Mill from Gary and Tamar Tolchin for an undisclosed amount. Newly named The Mill Lakeside Manor, it will primarily will be used for weddings and won't include a public restaurant, said Beau Truesdale, the general manager.

"We wanted to keep it a restaurant, but the more we ran the numbers, we thought it would be too difficult," Truesdale said. "Coming from a wedding background, we knew what it could be as a wedding venue."

The sale marks another milestone in the long history of the property that showed up on Lt. John Hills' 1781 map of Monmouth County made for the British Army.

And it comes as owners of banquet halls try to find the right business model to stay afloat.

"With a la carte restaurants, it's more difficult because when you are booking a catering facility you know what your costs and expenses are going to be," said Marilou Halvorsen, president of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association, a trade group. "You book a party, you know you'll have X amount of people, X amount of revenue, you'll need X amount of servers. There's no guessing."

MORE: Circus Drive-In in Wall appears to be doomed

The Tolchins bought the restaurant and banquet facility in 2001 from its long-time owner Joe Amiel. And they tried to keep up with the times. They dropped the landmark restaurant and focused on special events in the late 2000s, after it seemed like consumers were searching for more casual and less expensive meals, Tamar Tolchin told the Asbury Park Press in 2008.

The Tolchins hired a consultant, who quickly reopened the restaurant with a more contemporary menu and brought in entertainment such as Jefferson Starship, Judy Collins and The Marshall Tucker Band. On Wednesday, The Mill had three-and-a-half stars on Yelp and four stars on Trip Advisor.

The Tolchins couldn't be reached for comment Wednesday.

For the Truesdales, the facility hits close to home. Beau's father, George, lives in Spring Lake. Beau grew up in Sea Girt. And the family will add The Mill Lakeside Manor to other businesses that it owns: Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant; Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran; and The Bradford Estate in Hainesport

Beau Truesdale, 28, said The Mill will honor contracts that customers have signed for special events, one of which is in 2019. He said the family plans to spend $1.5 million to $2 million upgrading both the inside and outside of the facility. And it plans to turn the first floor's restaurant into space that can be used for cocktail hour after weddings.

"It was something that really intrigued us because we knew what this property has been and (how we) could make it nicer moving forward," Truesdale said.

"After nearly 30 years of being in business, I have made the difficult decision to close Nature’s Corner for good," Levy wrote. "Many factors played a role in this decision; COVID, the hiring crisis, wage increases, inflation, recession and competition from big box stores. The grocery competition in Monmouth County is intense and changing. The major supermarkets like ShopRite, Stop & Shop and Super Foodtown all tout their organic offerings. "Nature's Corner has always been a truly special place, for staff members and customers alike," Levy wrote. "It has been a sanctuary where people can come and escape from the divisiveness of the outside world while getting the highest quality natural products available. Especially during the last few years.

"And you, our dear customers, have made that a possibility over the last 30 years, and I (and all of the staff members) am eternally grateful to you."
