If there's one universal truth in life, it's that it can be unpredictable. Everyone experiences unexpected events that throw us off. Many Americans suffer from chronic neck and back pain - according to research, half of Americans over 18 develop musculoskeletal injuries that last longer than a year. These injuries often cause a range of mobility issues that make everyday tasks seem hard to do. The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCureâ„¢ Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

Understanding the Powerful Benefits of Ice Compression Therapy

 Sciatica Pain Therapy Matawan, NJ

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen is getting a new health foods grocery store/farmers' market, next year.

Sprouts Farmers Market, a health food grocery store chain, plans to open in the old Aberdeen A&P supermarket space at Aberdeen Plaza, announced Basser-Kaufman, the commercial realty firm that owns Aberdeen Plaza.

The Asbury Park Press reports they will not open until 2024; they did not say what month.

Sprouts will occupy a 22,700-square-foot space inside Aberdeen's main shopping plaza, at Rt. 35 at Cliffwood Avenue.

What is Sprouts? According to a quick review of their website, the Arizona-based health food store seems like a cross between a traditional supermarket, a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, with an emphasis on organic and unprocessed, natural foods: They have a meats and seafood section, dairy, a deli, a bakery and also sell vitamins and supplements. Some Sprouts stores also sell beer and wine; it does not appear the Aberdeen location will.

"We at Basser Kaufman are pleased to announce that Aberdeen Plaza will be the new home of @sprouts, which opened its first store in 2002 in an effort to make natural foods available to the general population and has since grown to 370 locations, with more to come," wrote Basser-Kaufman on their Instagram account.

"We are pleased Sprouts chose Aberdeen Plaza as their first home in the central New Jersey market. Sprouts will deliver their brand of healthy food at reasonable prices to the burgeoning population of Central NJ and we couldn’t be happier to accommodate them. Sprouts will occupy in the revamped, renewed and revitalized Aberdeen Plaza."

What else is at Aberdeen Plaza:

A beauty salon called Phenix Salons just opened: Phenix Salons is "a suite concept," says Basser-Kaufman. A hair stylist has a chair, as does someone who does hair coloring and a third professional offering hair removal.

Health foods grocery store: Sprouts signed a lease to open in 2024.

Aberdeen Plaza is already home to the LA Fitness, Vinvingo Wine and Liquor, My XO nail salon, a WingStop, Domino's Pizza and HR Block.

There remains available for lease one 3,000-square-food end-cap in the shopping center. For all leasing inquiries, please contact Robert Goldfeder Director of Leasing at 516-569-3700 or robert@bkre.com

LAURENCE HARBOR, NJ — Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community and really help people in the town where you live?

He saw the sign for volunteers out front of the firehouse, and making that call was the very first step in fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Football kept him busy in high school, then Davion left New Jersey to study kinesiology at the University of Lynchburg.

"Now I’m back home, and I’m finally doing it — I’m becoming a firefighter," he said.

Davion owns a local cleaning business, Time Two Shine, and plans to soon work in construction.

"I like to work hard, and I’m always looking for a new challenge every day," he said. "This makes me a better person, and it’s also really fun."

April may be new to firefighting, but she is not new to emergency response. She’s a volunteer EMT who first joined a local squad as a cadet at age 16.

"As an EMT, I started to realize what a difference I could make as a volunteer,” she said. She who studies biology/pre-med at Hofstra University. Some of the EMTs she trained with are firefighters and suggested she would love that, too.

"When I was in high school, I didn’t have time. But one day when I was home from college, I drove by the Laurence Harbor Fire Department and I thought, ‘You know what, I could do that, and I’m willing and able to, so why not?'" she remembered. "At the end of the day, all we have is other people. We have to help each other."

April's career goal is to become a trauma surgeon, and she's excited to use her EMT skills on fire calls.

A role for everyone – YOUR help is needed!

Laurence Harbor Fire Department volunteers have a wide variety of careers, skill sets and life experiences, which adds to the strength of the team, said Chief Stitzel.

No previous experience is needed to join, and training and gear are free to members. Members all support each other as they learn.

Why not make 2024 the year you make a difference in your life and the lives of others?

"Laurence Harbor firefighters go out of their way to teach new members and to make new members feel welcome," said April.

"If someone is thinking about becoming a volunteer firefighter – if they are willing to train and challenge themselves – they should do it,” said Davion. “You get to interact with our community and you will make new friends and connections at the fire department – really, you will gain family."

SAYREVILLE, NJ — This December, the long-discussed Riverton development in Sayreville took a big step forward in actually getting built:

On Dec. 14, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) approved the project for up to $400 million in tax breaks. The developer of Riverton is Cincinnati-based North American Properties, working with PGIM Real Estate, the global investment arm of Prudential bank.

The two are working under a limited partnership called Sayreville Seaport Associates Urban Renewal, L.P. to build Riverton.

Some locals may laugh to think of Sayreville as having a "seaport," but Riverton is proposed to be built where the Raritan River widens and empties into Raritan Bay, with the Atlantic Ocean just beyond. It will be right off the Sayreville exit off the Driscoll Bridge.

Riverton will take up all 418 acres of the former National Lead site. It is a planned mixed-use community that includes luxury waterfront apartments, office space, retail shops and restaurants and a marina. Bass Pro Shops is already confirmed as an anchor tenant, the developer previously announced in this 2019 article about the complex.

Riverton will have:

When the project was first announced in 2017, North American Properties managing partner Mark Toro said he imagines Riverton as "New Jersey’s next great hometown."

The developer said it "will primarily be marketed to empty nesters and single Millennials, however some families may also be part of the resident mix."

However, for years now the developers have also said the entire project was contingent on "critical" financing from the state of New Jersey. That's why it is big news that this December, Riverton was approved for tax breaks of up to 50 percent of projects costs, up to $400 million total. It was given the tax breaks under the state's Aspire Program, which is meant to increase affordable housing in New Jersey.

“After decades of this land sitting vacant and unsafe, this strategically-located project will serve as an economic engine for the area," said NJ Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Woodbridge).

Gov. Murphy wants Riverton to be built

“With today’s approval, Sayreville is poised to undergo a tremendous renaissance, which will bring new housing, jobs, retail and recreation that will benefit the entire community,” said Gov. Phil Murphy on Dec. 14.

Riverton will be the largest brownfield remediation project in New Jersey history, possibly even on the entire East Coast, some say. The 418 acres on which it is proposed to be built is all former industrial land and marsh along the river.

Part of the reason why Riverton was given the millions in tax breaks is because a big chunk (20 percent) of the new housing there will be affordable. Riverton will have an estimated 1,300 new residential units, 20 percent of which will be set aside as affordable. All new-construction applicants for Aspire tax breaks must include at least 20 percent affordable housing.

NJEDA CEO Tim Sullivan called Riverton a "long-anticipated project" and one that will "transform a vast tract of land that had been rendered unusable many years ago."

This will "reinvigorate Sayreville and create jobs for the local community," he said.

North American Properties already said they seek to capitalize off Sayreville's strategic location, just 20 miles south of New York City, close to Rutgers-New Brunswick and with easy access to the Jersey Shore, NJ Turnpike, Rts. 1,9 and 35 and the Garden State Parkway.

"About 600,000 vehicles traverse the Driscoll Bridge at Exit 125 of the Garden State Parkway each day, and considerably more in summer months," said North American Properties. "The newly opened exit rivals virtually any site in the United States for unimpeded access to America’s most coveted marketplace — the New York metropolitan area."

“This mixed-use development project will be exactly the sort of economic boost the Sayreville Seaport area needs, and will bring economic renewal and vitality to the entire riverfront,” said state Senator Joseph Vitale (D-Woodbridge).

Heads Up, Sayreville: Massive Luxury Apartment Complex 'Riverton' May Be Coming (December 2019)
