Not only is the staff incredible, the facility is new and cleanly. I’d like to tell you about my experience. I had hurt my shoulder lifting. It was an overuse injury. I went to NJ Sports Spine and wellness in tears. I was in so much pain I could not bear it. They brought me in a private room with the head Chiropractor Tony Ambrogio and Elisa, an amazing OT. I told them what was going on, they immediately started treating and working on me. Tony carefully adjusted me and Elisa performed OT with deep tissue massage in the area. They also used a laser that penetrates deeply into the muscle to accelerate healing. I was required to attend physical therapy three times a week for four+ weeks. I will admit, hearing that was not ideal. However, as I continue going, feeling a difference in my pain, and gradually healing, I started to really enjoy it. Not only have they worked on my posture, they have strengthen the muscles around the affected area to relieve the strain and pain. The first week attending, I performed a strength test, about a month and a half later, I repeated the test and have increased my strength in all areas of my upper back and neck area. It has been about two months since I started going, and I can say I am currently pain-free. With the adjustments, the occupational therapy, and the physical therapy, I can say I am healed. Going forward, I am going to continue the exercises and stretches they have shown me to make sure that this never happens again. I have also been able to include certain exercises in my personal workouts that I previously needed to avoid that would have aggravated my neck and upper back. Overall, my experience has been wonderful. Like I said, the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so nice, caring, and I can see them all go above and beyond for every patient. Even when I was sick with the flu, I received a phone call from my chiropractor Tony and my OT Elisa to check in on me. I can’t think of any other business that cares as much about their patients as NJSSW. Both Tony and Elisa are so easy to talk to, they always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. On a side note, I have had to bring my three-year-old toddler with me on a few occasions. They were very accommodating, they offered and provided a private room. Elisa even played with my son in between her clients in order for me to perform my exercises without a distraction. The team there goes above and beyond. Even staff that I have not personally worked with greet me by name and assist as needed. Let's start at the beginning. The parking lot always has spots available, even on the busiest days at the busiest times. The pavement is smooth and the parking spots are clearly marked... As you enter the Matawan location, you are greeted with a finely manicured carpet displaying the facility's logo. To the right are a set of glistening glass double doors that welcome you into the immaculate waiting room. Once inside, you could be lucky enough to encounter Ang, Amanda, or one of the many other ladies that inhabit the area behind the front desk. They will always welcome you with a smile, eagerly print out your receipt, or discuss the song verses that adorn their arms in case they ever forget the words. If you have to wait a few minutes for your treatment, you can treat yourself to reading the biography of many of the employees on the complimentary television screen. Once into the treatment area, you will be instantly whisked away to the exercise area where a host of professionals will guide you through your journey of rehabilitation. No matter who you get, you will be in good hands. Hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to have Liam working the music. His playlist is second to none. Personally, my Occupational Therapists are Katelynn Bissett and Alyssa Bark. Two of the best in my opinion. I can't leave out Lindsey who I see once a week and has been terrific. 3 bulging discs and severe shoulder pain are things of the past thanks to these ladies. Okay, that's all I've got. COLTS NECK, NJ — The summer is almost here, and soon, community members will be able to cool off with Jersey Freeze ice cream when the restaurant opens its newest location in Monmouth County.

Set to open on 340 NJ-34 in Colts Neck, the restaurant will be Jersey Freeze’s third location. Their other two locations are inside Bell Works in Holmdel and on 120 Manalapan Ave. in Freehold.

“BIG NEWS! Jersey Freeze is expanding once again — and this time, we’re heading to Colts Neck, New Jersey,” the restaurant recently announced on social media. “Get ready for the best soft serve in the world, coming your way this summer.”

While a specific opening date wasn’t included in the announcement, the restaurant told customers to stay tuned for more information.

“This is just the beginning — stay tuned for even more big news, new locations, and exciting opportunities,” the restaurant said. “Thank you to our incredible community for all the love and support.”

Known for their soft serve ice cream and expansive menu, Jersey Freeze was founded in 1952 by the Blackmore family before becoming a local go-to spot for fast food and ice cream in the 1970s, according to their website.

The current owners, Katie DiNonno and Matt Cangialosi, purchased Jersey Freeze from Bruce Blackmore in 2014 and have been managing the restaurant ever since.

In March 2020, the pair opened their second location at Bell Works in Holmdel.

MARLBORO, NJ — Drivers should be aware of road and bridge closures set to take place throughout Marlboro this week.

Harbor RoadStarting Thursday (March 27) and running through Friday (March 28), township officials said part of Harbor Road will be closed for milling and paving operations.

The township's contractor will be on-site between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to perform road work between Pegasus Court and NJSH Route 79.

The road will remain closed for the duration of the work day, officials said, and drivers are advised to use caution through the work zone.

Monmouth County Emergency Bridge RepairFollowing a routine inspection, Monmouth County officials discovered "severe deterioration" on Monmouth County Bridge ML-3, located on Robertsville Road over Tepehemus Brook.

For the safety of the traveling public, the bridge was closed immediately. Now, Robertsville Road between Palomino Way and Crossridge Circle will remain closed as the county makes repairs to the bridge.

While the road is closed, the county put a signed detour in place directing traffic to Ryan Road and Lafayette Road to Route 9, officials said.

The county anticipates that the bridge will remain closed for 4-6 weeks. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
