The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCureâ„¢ Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

LLLT has shown promising results for challenging conditions that other treatments can't match. Some of the most common conditions treated include:

Understanding the Powerful Benefits of Ice Compression Therapy

Sciatica Pain Therapy Long Branch, NJ

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

WEST LONG BRANCH - After 40 years, QuickChek has closed its convenience store on Broadway.

"We're proud to serve the West Long Branch community for more than 40 years and are continuing to do so with fresh convenience market stores throughout the area," QuickChek said in a statement to What's Going There.

With its lease expiring, the store closed permanently last Friday, the company said. Customers can visit other QuickChek locations on Route 35 in Eatontown and Shrewsbury Avenue in Shrewsbury.

Store employees were offered the opportunity to work in other QuickChek locations, the company said.

QuickChek sold to Arkansas company:NJ family business traces roots to 1888

In recent years, QuickChek has closed other older stores in the area even as it opened larger locations that offer its full assortment of prepared foods, coffee and fuel fill-ups. Those locations included stores on Wyckoff Road in Eatontown, Main Street in Bradley Beach and West Park Avenue in Ocean Township.

It comes as the competitive feud with rival powerhouse Wawa continues. For instance, each company has two stores on opposite sides of the Route 35 from the other.

Wawa expects to open a new store on Route 35 at Deal Road in Ocean Township this summer. QuickChek has signed a lease to build a store with fuel on the site of the former Coca-Cola bottling warehouse at Route 35's Asbury Circle in Neptune.

LONG BRANCH - It appears as if a recently revealed massive Coca-Cola sign is going to be saved, but exactly where its new resting place will be is still to be determined.

The owner of the building at 22 Third Ave., where it was recently discovered, has given it to the city to preserve, Mayor John Pallone said. He said city officials haven't decided yet where they're going to put it, but due to the buzz created by the discovery of century-old painted wall ad in nearly mint condition, the city is going to display it from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the new Health & Technology Center at 131 Bath Ave.

See the sign, grab a Coke and a slice

The public is welcome to come and view the ad, along with free Cokes and pizza, as supplies last.

The Coca-Cola ad was found after Prime City, the owners of 20 Third Ave., demolished the former SICA building earlier this month to make way for new apartment lofts and ground-floor retail. The wall sign was on the adjacent building, but had been covered since at least 1940, when the former building at 20 Third Ave. was constructed.

How it started:Century-old Coca-Cola ad emerges in Long Branch. Can it be saved before it vanishes again?

The location of the building and the future lofts is in the middle of the Lower Broadway Redevelopment Zone and is dotted with late 19th- and early 20th-century architecture that today houses Latin cuisine restaurants, thrift shops, a church and a grandiose U.S. Post Office.

Pallone said there was about two inches of space between the two buildings, which is why the sign is in such good condition after all these years. He said city officials held a Zoom call with Coca-Cola archivists and they believe the ad dates to around 1910 due to the colors used in it, the trademark in the tail and the slogan "Relieves Fatigue," which was in use then.

Long Branch history:U.S. Grant's walnut cabinet now at City Hall

The 1910s is around the time Coca-Cola started spending money for ads on walls. In 1913, Coca-Cola, which was first created in 1886, spent $259,499 on painted wall signs. Pallone said the company's representatives said they had several hundred signs done in New Jersey alone. Just how many of those, if any, are left, is not clear.

Sign 'staying in Long Branch'

"It’s great that it’s staying in Long Branch. It was removed faster than I imagined it would be just a couple of weeks ago," local Red Bank artist Michael White said.

White, who moved to Red Bank from Long Island four years ago, paints old landmarks and has added the Coca-Cola sign to his collection, along with the "evil clown," a Middletown landmark from the mid-1950s used to promote Food Circus, which later became Foodtown.

Long Branch history:Mill House Antiques is really a time machine

White was also alerted to another surviving wall sign at 72 Bridge Ave. in Red Bank. This ad, not nearly as well-preserved as the Coca-Cola sign, is an ad for Wrigley's Spearmint gum. The paint has fused to the brick, White said.

Pallone said Prime City took the Coca-Cola ad down piece by piece and numbered the boards so that it could be easier to put back them together in order when a permanent home is found.

LONG BRANCH − Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that broke out mid-morning on Saturday at Charley's Ocean Bar & Grill and will force the restaurant's owner to rebuild from a blaze for the second time in three years.

The fire started about 11 a.m. shortly after the restaurant opened and appeared to damage the outside of the building.

"It was supposed to be a good weekend," Charley's owner Mario Magriplis said. "We had some parties and events booked that unfortunately now I have to reach out and contact them and figure it out."

Firefighters from Long Branch, Asbury Park, Deal and Sea Bright responded. There were no reported injuries.

Charley's on Avenel Boulevard has about 30 employees during the off-season and 50 during the summer. The restaurant has been a neighborhood staple since 1985, serving New American cuisine.

Employees who were getting ready to start their day instead stood outside in the marine layer. They watched firefighters douse the back of the restaurant with water and peered through the exterior wall to make sure the fire was out.

Century-old Coca-Cola ad emerges in Long Branch. Can it be saved before it vanishes again?

"They went through a hard time like everybody else during COVID," said Rose Ann Dillon, 55, of Long Branch, a regular customer who was looking on. "It's sad. It's sad they have to shut down again and get everyone back on track. It really is a wonderful restaurant. Everyone gets along. They're friends. They're just great people."

Magriplis and his family, who also own Blue Swan Diner in Ocean Township, bought Charley's about five years ago.

It hasn't been an easy road. The business was damaged by a fire in the roof less than three years ago, forcing Charley's to shut down for a month while it was repaired.

Magriplis wasn't sure about the extent of the damage from Saturday's fire, but he was hopeful most of it was contained to the outside of the building.

"It's been a stretch of bad luck, but we're going to figure it out," he said. "We're going to get up and running as soon as possible again."
