Not only is the staff incredible, the facility is new and cleanly. I’d like to tell you about my experience. I had hurt my shoulder lifting. It was an overuse injury. I went to NJ Sports Spine and wellness in tears. I was in so much pain I could not bear it. They brought me in a private room with the head Chiropractor Tony Ambrogio and Elisa, an amazing OT. I told them what was going on, they immediately started treating and working on me. Tony carefully adjusted me and Elisa performed OT with deep tissue massage in the area. They also used a laser that penetrates deeply into the muscle to accelerate healing. I was required to attend physical therapy three times a week for four+ weeks. I will admit, hearing that was not ideal. However, as I continue going, feeling a difference in my pain, and gradually healing, I started to really enjoy it. Not only have they worked on my posture, they have strengthen the muscles around the affected area to relieve the strain and pain. The first week attending, I performed a strength test, about a month and a half later, I repeated the test and have increased my strength in all areas of my upper back and neck area. It has been about two months since I started going, and I can say I am currently pain-free. With the adjustments, the occupational therapy, and the physical therapy, I can say I am healed. Going forward, I am going to continue the exercises and stretches they have shown me to make sure that this never happens again. I have also been able to include certain exercises in my personal workouts that I previously needed to avoid that would have aggravated my neck and upper back. Overall, my experience has been wonderful. Like I said, the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so nice, caring, and I can see them all go above and beyond for every patient. Even when I was sick with the flu, I received a phone call from my chiropractor Tony and my OT Elisa to check in on me. I can’t think of any other business that cares as much about their patients as NJSSW. Both Tony and Elisa are so easy to talk to, they always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. On a side note, I have had to bring my three-year-old toddler with me on a few occasions. They were very accommodating, they offered and provided a private room. Elisa even played with my son in between her clients in order for me to perform my exercises without a distraction. The team there goes above and beyond. Even staff that I have not personally worked with greet me by name and assist as needed. The front desk staff is always friendly and very accommodating with booking appointments and rescheduling if need be.

Let's start at the beginning. The parking lot always has spots available, even on the busiest days at the busiest times. The pavement is smooth and the parking spots are clearly marked... As you enter the Matawan location, you are greeted with a finely manicured carpet displaying the facility's logo. To the right are a set of glistening glass double doors that welcome you into the immaculate waiting room. Once inside, you could be lucky enough to encounter Ang, Amanda, or one of the many other ladies that inhabit the area behind the front desk. They will always welcome you with a smile, eagerly print out your receipt, or discuss the song verses that adorn their arms in case they ever forget the words. If you have to wait a few minutes for your treatment, you can treat yourself to reading the biography of many of the employees on the complimentary television screen. Once into the treatment area, you will be instantly whisked away to the exercise area where a host of professionals will guide you through your journey of rehabilitation. No matter who you get, you will be in good hands. Hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to have Liam working the music. His playlist is second to none. Personally, my Occupational Therapists are Katelynn Bissett and Alyssa Bark. Two of the best in my opinion. I can't leave out Lindsey who I see once a week and has been terrific. 3 bulging discs and severe shoulder pain are things of the past thanks to these ladies. Okay, that's all I've got. HOWELL - Burger King will take over the former Boston Market restaurant space at Aldrich Plaza on Route 9.

Burger King has signed a lease for the 2,640-square-foot restaurant, according to Levin Management Corp., the leasing and management agent at Aldrich Plaza.

No further information was available. No proposals for work on the building have been filed with the township so far, a Howell official said Tuesday.

Burger King will bring the former Boston Market building back to life after the family restaurant was evicted in mid-2023 over a failure to pay rent.

It was the second time that Aldrich Plaza, located on Route 9 at Aldrich Road, evicted Boston Market.

The first time, according to court papers in 2022, the restaurant owed almost $43,867 in rent, real estate taxes and other fees. It was evicted in June 2022, but later came to the terms with the landlord and reopened in early 2023.

A judge signed another eviction notice in June 2023.

HOWELL, NJ — For most of the last seven years, the Howell Township Schools have grappled with reductions to the state funding provided to the school district.

The cuts, mandated under a state law that purported to balance out imbalances in funding from the School Funding Reform Act of 2008, have had multiple impacts for many districts and the students they serve, including reductions in teaching staff and increased classroom sizes.

While the Howell Schools, a kindergarten-through-eighth grade district, saw an increase in funding in the 2024-25 school year, the cuts are back for 2025-26. The total aid package from the state under Gov. Phil Murphy's proposed budget is $21,455,291, a decrease of $663,566 from the 2024-25 funding, according to figures released by the state Department of Education on Thursday.

The reduction comes as Howell Township Schools are slated for a significant increase in funding for one of the most challenging categories for districts: special education aid. The district is to receive $7,474,060 in assistance for its special education students, a 42 percent increase over the $5,257,622 received last year.

The change is the result of a move from funding special education based on an estimate of the number of special education students in an area to funding the actual number of students being served.

Howell also is set to receive $3,419,152 for transportation aid, an eye-popping 278 percent increase over the $903,761 it received in that category in 2024-25.

Those increases, however, were offset by a nearly 40 percent decrease in equalization aid; Howell is to receive $9,276,379 for 2025-26, down from $15,439,995.

In the Freehold Regional High School District, where Howell students attend for ninth through 12 grades, funding from the state is decreasing again after the district funding was flat in 2024-25. It is slated for $29,633,713 in 2025-26, down $916,507 from the $30,550,220 Freehold Regional received last year.

For 2025-26, Freehold Regional's special education funding is $17,475,130, more than double the $7,030,185 from 2024-25, and transportation aid is $9,632,700, five times the $1,816,395 from last year. But the state completely eliminated $20,968,046 in equalization aid that the district received in 2024-25, resulting in the cut.
