Not only is the staff incredible, the facility is new and cleanly. I’d like to tell you about my experience. I had hurt my shoulder lifting. It was an overuse injury. I went to NJ Sports Spine and wellness in tears. I was in so much pain I could not bear it. They brought me in a private room with the head Chiropractor Tony Ambrogio and Elisa, an amazing OT. I told them what was going on, they immediately started treating and working on me. Tony carefully adjusted me and Elisa performed OT with deep tissue massage in the area. They also used a laser that penetrates deeply into the muscle to accelerate healing. I was required to attend physical therapy three times a week for four+ weeks. I will admit, hearing that was not ideal. However, as I continue going, feeling a difference in my pain, and gradually healing, I started to really enjoy it. Not only have they worked on my posture, they have strengthen the muscles around the affected area to relieve the strain and pain. The first week attending, I performed a strength test, about a month and a half later, I repeated the test and have increased my strength in all areas of my upper back and neck area. It has been about two months since I started going, and I can say I am currently pain-free. With the adjustments, the occupational therapy, and the physical therapy, I can say I am healed. Going forward, I am going to continue the exercises and stretches they have shown me to make sure that this never happens again. I have also been able to include certain exercises in my personal workouts that I previously needed to avoid that would have aggravated my neck and upper back. Overall, my experience has been wonderful. Like I said, the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so nice, caring, and I can see them all go above and beyond for every patient. Even when I was sick with the flu, I received a phone call from my chiropractor Tony and my OT Elisa to check in on me. I can’t think of any other business that cares as much about their patients as NJSSW. Both Tony and Elisa are so easy to talk to, they always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. On a side note, I have had to bring my three-year-old toddler with me on a few occasions. They were very accommodating, they offered and provided a private room. Elisa even played with my son in between her clients in order for me to perform my exercises without a distraction. The team there goes above and beyond. Even staff that I have not personally worked with greet me by name and assist as needed. The front desk staff is always friendly and very accommodating with booking appointments and rescheduling if need be.

Let's start at the beginning. The parking lot always has spots available, even on the busiest days at the busiest times. The pavement is smooth and the parking spots are clearly marked... As you enter the Matawan location, you are greeted with a finely manicured carpet displaying the facility's logo. To the right are a set of glistening glass double doors that welcome you into the immaculate waiting room. Once inside, you could be lucky enough to encounter Ang, Amanda, or one of the many other ladies that inhabit the area behind the front desk. They will always welcome you with a smile, eagerly print out your receipt, or discuss the song verses that adorn their arms in case they ever forget the words. If you have to wait a few minutes for your treatment, you can treat yourself to reading the biography of many of the employees on the complimentary television screen. Once into the treatment area, you will be instantly whisked away to the exercise area where a host of professionals will guide you through your journey of rehabilitation. No matter who you get, you will be in good hands. Hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to have Liam working the music. His playlist is second to none. Personally, my Occupational Therapists are Katelynn Bissett and Alyssa Bark. Two of the best in my opinion. I can't leave out Lindsey who I see once a week and has been terrific. 3 bulging discs and severe shoulder pain are things of the past thanks to these ladies. Okay, that's all I've got. Kushner has signed a flurry of retail leases to bring new food and beverage and fitness operators to Monmouth Square, its landmark redevelopment of the Monmouth Mall site in Eatontown.

The firm, which is transforming the property into a mixed-use, open-air destination as part of a $500 million project, said its tenant lineup now includes Prince Street Pizza, Cava, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Offshore Coffee and STRONG Pilates. They’ll operate at the Route 35 complex alongside a previously announced Whole Foods Market, Kushner said, noting that the new deals total nearly 50,000 square feet and bring Monmouth Square’s 990,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space to 75 percent preleased.

“At Monmouth Square, we are assembling a tenant mix that responds to the changing preferences of today’s consumers while enhancing the quality and variety of offerings for the area,” said Nicole Kushner Meyer, president of Kushner. “These leading retailers and restaurants reflect our commitment to attracting the best operators, ensuring a destination that surpasses expectations and has a lasting impact on the community.”

Kushner broke ground last spring on its long-awaited, ambitious plan to de-mall the aging local landmark, which it said was a community staple for more than 60 years. The redevelopment will reduce its retail footprint by 40 percent and turn the traditional mall concept inside out, creating a vibrant town center with a blend of freestanding, easily accessible spaces for shopping, dining and medical offices with an expansive public green, pedestrian pathways and 1,000 luxury apartments.

Whole Foods will anchor Monmouth Square with a 40,000-square-foot store, occupying a former Barnes & Noble space and offering its well-known selection of premium, organic products. The bookstore, meantime, has already opened in a new location within the center with an updated B&N Café.

Kushner on Tuesday detailed its other newly announced tenants, including:

This opportunity is an important milestone for our company, and we look forward to contributing to the energy and success of Monmouth Square for years to come.”

Rico Macaraeg, CEO and cofounder of StriveWell Group, added: “We are thrilled of the partnership with Kushner to bring the STRONG Pilates brand to New Jersey and this exciting Monmouth Square project, the future epicenter of the Jersey Shore. We are excited to join the STRONG Pilates brand as part of their US expansion with over 70+ locations coming to the US in the near future on top of their 75+ international operating locations.”

Kushner also noted that substantial demolition of outdated spaces is well underway, as are extensive infrastructure improvements. The remaining retailers, including AMC, Macy’s and Boscov’s, continue to operate throughout the redevelopment.

“Monmouth Square’s transformation is advancing with purpose, bringing together best-in-class retail and dining options that align with our vision for a vibrant, mixed-use community,” said Michael Sommer, chief development officer at Kushner. “The construction and leasing progress reflects both our team’s expertise and the strong partnerships we’ve built to execute a project of this scale and significance. We’re excited to see Monmouth Square take shape as a destination that sets a new standard for adaptive reuse and community development.”

Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners leads architectural design for the project, working alongside Benoy and the Dietz Partnership, seeking to combine modern aesthetics with functional urban planning to meet the needs of today’s market, according to a news release. BOND RP is leading the retail leasing program.
