If there's one universal truth in life, it's that it can be unpredictable. Everyone experiences unexpected events that throw us off. Many Americans suffer from chronic neck and back pain - according to research, half of Americans over 18 develop musculoskeletal injuries that last longer than a year. These injuries often cause a range of mobility issues that make everyday tasks seem hard to do. The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCureâ„¢ Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

LLLT has shown promising results for challenging conditions that other treatments can't match. Some of the most common conditions treated include:

  • Muscle Pain
  • Pain from Tendinopathy
  • Osteoarthritis Pain
  • Swollen Joints
  • Myofascial Pain

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

After already confirming New Jersey was struck by four tornadoes during an outbreak of intense thunderstorms Saturday night, the National Weather Service says it’s possible two or three additional tornadoes may have touched down in the Garden State.

The weather service’s Mount Holly forecast office is sending teams of meteorologists out Monday to investigate storm damage in three new locations — the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold Township in Monmouth County, the Crosswicks section of Chesterfield Township in Burlington County, and the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township in Atlantic County.

Ray Martin, a meteorologist at the Mount Holly office, said today’s investigations were triggered by additional reviews of weather radar and storm damage reports from Saturday night that showed clusters of wind damage in those areas of the state.

“It’s possible” two or three additional tornadoes may have struck New Jersey on top of the four twisters that have already been confirmed by the weather service, Martin said Monday morning.

“Cream Ridge and Crosswick are close together, so that could have been one singular tornado,” Martin said. “It could be two tornadoes in Crosswick and Cream Ridge.”

He noted it’s also possible the damage in those areas may have been caused by strong straight-line thunderstorm winds and not necessarily a tornado.

Martin said his office won’t know for certain until the survey teams finish their inspections of the damage and any other evidence they can find, including radar images.

On Sunday, the weather service confirmed four different tornadoes touched down in New Jersey — one each in Howell, Jackson and Sea Girt in Monmouth and Ocean counties, and one in Cinnaminson, Delran and Moorestown in Burlington County.

The weather service also determined the storm damage in the Palmyra and Riverton areas of Burlington County was caused by straight-line winds from a strong thunderstorm downburst — not by a tornado.

In addition, the weather service confirmed one tornado near the border of Newtown and Wrightstown Township in eastern Pennsylvania and a tornado in the Bridgeville and Ellendale areas of southern Delaware during the same storm outbreak Saturday night.

Including the four New Jersey tornadoes, the total number of twisters confirmed in the Mount Holly coverage area from Saturday’s storms currently stands at six.

New Jersey usually gets an average of two tornadoes each year, but had 13 confirmed twisters in 2021, including six that occurred during a rare outbreak on the same day in July and three that were triggered by the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September.

The Garden State had only two confirmed tornadoes in 2022, according to storm data from the National Weather Service.

The state record is 17 tornadoes, which occurred in 1989, a year New Jersey had a major outbreak of seven tornadoes on one day.

It’s fall y’all and that means the season’s most stunning blooms are on full display in the Garden State. One of our favorite places to celebrate the change in seasons is Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge. The farm’s annual Fall Flower Festival is underway through October 15th!

What can you expect at this gorgeous spot? The 6th Annual Holland Ridge Farms Fall Flower Festival has yellow, red, white, and bicolor sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolus, calla lilies, and mums (the mums are not for picking). The team at Holland Ridge spends the better part of summer making sure the flowers will be ready for the fall festivities.

“The work begins as soon as the sunflowers end,” says Patrick Marini, Holland Ridge’s creative manager. “We start prepping the fields and planning the layout of the flowers for the fall event. The field crew spends the entire summer planting, watering and mowing to keep the fields in pristine condition.”

Holland Ridge is also known for its epic photo backdrops and is a go-to in our area for social media influencers and families looking to take photos for special occasions like maternity shoots, family portraits, birthday celebrations and more.

This fall, the farm has added Blooming Boulevard, featuring five colorful unique rooms that make for a stunning backdrop to your photos. “This year we were inspired by house-shaped retail displays we came across during our spring trip to Holland,” Marini says. “We took these one step further and created Blooming Boulevard, a series of five colorful houses, one to represent each of the flowers we grow at the farm. We also have a floral shopping cart, a floral arch, a floral throne, the love, peace, and hope arches, our fall barn door display, holiday barn door display, floral umbrella wall, floral swing, and floral peace wall.”

In addition to Blooming Boulevard, visitors will have access to many other photo props with the price of admission. You can purchase PYO sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolus, callas and mixed flowers, head to the pumpkin patch, eat at one of 20 food trucks, ride the free tractor-pulled hayride shuttle around the farm, and visit the Little Sprouts feeding zoo and rescue animals. “On the weekends there’s also pony rides, horse and carriage rides, live music, and a farmers and makers market,” says Marini.

Here are a few things to know if you’re planning a visit to the fall festival:

–The fall flower festival is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm through October 15. Tickets are $15 per person. Kids younger than 3 are free.

–Wear comfy shoes since you’ll be doing lots of walking.

–Parking is free. There are multiple entrances and exits for visitors to enter the farm and check out with their flowers.

Come springtime in New Jersey people are dying to get out in the fresh air and enjoy nature. Fall here has apple picking and hayrides. Well, it only makes sense then that New Jersey has the largest U-pick your own flower farm in the United States.

Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge is not only the largest of its kind in the country, it is stunningly beautiful. Last year they have doubled in size to over three hundred acres.

As a kid, I worked on a 70-acre farm and it seemed huge. I can't imagine what 300 acres of tulips looks like up close. Well, that's what also makes it a great place as a backdrop for photoshoots for weddings, anniversaries, proposals, etc.

Check out some Instagram posts taken at the farm.

What do you do on a tulip farm besides gawk and pick flowers? Plenty. They have food vendors and picnic tables to make a perfect picnic. Kids of all ages can check out the rescue animals at their "Big Buds" section or feed the animals at the "Little Sprouts" feeding zoo. There are even pony rides and a complimentary shuttle on the back of a tractor pulled flatbed to get you around.

You have to choose a time slot to go. They offer overlapping four hour time slots from 9 am to 6 pm. Admission is only $13 which also includes NJ sales tax. Any kids ages two and under are free.

Something new for 2023, weekday picnics are back! Bring your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic) to the farm Monday through Friday during the tulip festival. Outside food and drink is still not permitted on the weekends. Also new, check out their new 3D interactive map.

They are smack dab in the middle of the state at 86 Rues Road in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. Make sure you follow the signs to parking. Holland Ridge farms opens in April, just a couple of short weeks away.

If you want to avoid the crowds and go on a weekday, they are open 7 days a week.

UPPER FREEHOLD — Dashing the hopes of golfers looking to take advantage of unseasonably warm conditions, the state-owned Cream Ridge Golf Course along Route 539 has been temporarily closed by the state Department of Environmental Protection.

The DEP hopes to reopen the course with a new operator sometime this winter, according to a posting on the agency’s website.

The closure came after a dispute between two private companies over competing bids to manage the course. The fight over the bids continued as the previous contract held by Cream Ridge Golf Club lapsed on New Year’s Day, DEP Spokesman Larry Ragonese said.

Atlantic Golf Management was the first choice of the DEP to operate the golf course, but the second-place bidder, Meticulous Landscaping, challenged Atlantic’s submission, arguing its competitor failed to comply with the financial reporting standards of the DEP’s request, Ragonese said.

“The challenge is currently in litigation, but we are hoping to reopen Cream Ridge in the very near future,” Spokesman Larry Ragonese said.

The course was acquired by the DEP in 2006 through the Green Acres Program, a program for the preservation of open space. The agency owns four golf courses in the state.

The initial term of the operating contract for Cream Ridge is six years, with the option of renewing for a longer second term of 14 years, subject to capital improvements being made during the first term, according to an August announcement from the DEP.

As the dispute between the companies in December drew closer to Jan. 1, the DEP asked the previous operator, Cream Ridge Golf Club, to step in and manage the course on a monthly basis in order to keep the links open.

Cream Ridge Golf Club, which also bid for the disputed contract, turned down the offer, leading to the temporary closure of the club.

“We closed the course, and posted signs,” Ragonese said. “But we’ve had some trouble with people taking away the signs.”

The course’s restaurant, Greens Café is not closed, but may be operating at restricted hours during the winter months, according to an announcement on the DEP’s website.

Golfers can still tee off at Spring Meadow Golf Course in Wall Township, the second public golf course owned by the DEP in Monmouth County.
