The DRX9000: Relief from Chronic Back and Neck Pain

Are you sick of living day-to-day with long-lasting neck or back pain? Have you searched high and low for a safe and effective alternative to surgery? The DRX9000 may be the answer you're looking for.

Beloved by high-level athletes and even celebrities, this advanced medical device employs non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat painful conditions such as:

  • Bulging Discs
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Sciatica
  • Arm Pain from Nerves in Your Neck

The DRX9000 is a device that has been approved by the FDA for treating herniated discs through spinal decompression therapy. This therapy works by applying equal amounts of pressure on your vertebral columns, which stretches your spine and creates a gap between spinal discs. This gap allows for better nutrient flow through your spine, which can help heal injuries gradually with regular treatment sessions. The DRX9000 also utilizes servo motors that rely on nested closed-loop feedback to customize therapy to your unique needs. By using DRX9000, you can often speed up your recovery by addressing your spinal disc issues ASAP.

No Harmful Medications Needed (Do we really need this paragraph or could we just mention it int he beginning about how it is a non-pharmaceutical method)

Perhaps the most significant advantage of the DRX9000 is that it provides a non-pharmaceutical method for relieving pain. With the opioid epidemic affecting the entire nation, many patients are reluctant to take prescription painkillers. The DRX9000 offers a secure and non-addictive alternative for pain relief that does not require medication.

During the course of the treatment, the patient will lie down on a specially designed table that is connected to the machine. The table will then be gently stretched as the machine creates negative pressure within the affected disc. This process will be repeated over a series of sessions, typically ranging from 20 to 30 sessions, depending on the patient's specific condition.

The DRX9000 treatment is considered to be safe and effective for many patients. It is designed to be gentle on the body, and patients usually experience little to no discomfort during their sessions. The machine is also equipped with advanced safety features, including sensors that can detect any sudden movements and stop the machine if necessary.

Experience Optimized Healing with LiteCureâ„¢ Low-Level Laser Therapy

After reading the headline above, you might be asking yourself, "Are lasers really used for physical therapy in cityname, state?" The answer to your question would be a resounding "Yes!" This advanced type of laser therapy harnesses the power of light through photobiomodulation (PBM), which is revolutionizing how patients heal and deal with pain.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a medical process that utilizes targeted light to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. By penetrating deep into the tissue, photons interact with mitochondria (the cellular powerhouses in your body) to increase energy production. This interaction triggers a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism. As a result, PBM can reduce pain, accelerate tissue repair, and enhance overall well-being.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive and painless treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain. It works by penetrating the skin and tissues to promote cellular activity and increase blood flow, which in turn helps to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate the healing process.

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and more. It is a safe and gentle treatment option that can aid in regaining function and mobility from injuries, accidents, surgeries, and other conditions. That makes it a viable and trustworthy addition to your personalized physical therapy plan from NJ Sports Spine & Wellness.

LLLT has shown promising results for challenging conditions that other treatments can't match. Some of the most common conditions treated include:

  • Muscle Pain
  • Pain from Tendinopathy
  • Osteoarthritis Pain
  • Swollen Joints
  • Myofascial Pain
  • Back and Neck Pain

Understanding the Powerful Benefits of Ice Compression Therapy

 Sciatica Pain Therapy Clarksburg, NJ

Game Ready Ice Compression Therapy is an advanced treatment technique that combines the advantages of modern cryotherapy (ice therapy) with the proven benefits of compression therapy. This clinically proven, synergistic approach is widely used in sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, and post-operative care to speed up recovery, alleviate pain and inflammation, and enhance rehabilitation.

The "cold" component of ice compression therapy helps nullify nerve-ending sensitivity, which provides pain relief. The extra compression gives you even more pain relief by reducing swelling and pressure on limbs and other body parts.

By improving lymphatic flow and enhancing blood circulation, compression therapy can help reduce swelling and edema, thereby improving your recovery process and simultaneously reducing pain and discomfort.

The concurrent use of cryotherapy and compression can enhance the body's innate healing mechanisms by reducing inflammation, mitigating tissue damage, and stimulating tissue repair.

Game Ready's combination therapy has been shown to be effective in improving joint flexibility and range of motion by promoting tissue healing. This treatment can be a great option for those looking to alleviate discomfort and improve overall joint health.

BRICK – A $235,920 contract has been awarded to Meco Inc. of Clarksburg, NJ for road improvements to the Burnt Tavern neighborhood of Siclar Estates.

The major work to be completed includes roadway milling and resurfacing of Sweeney Avenue, Marbro Avenue, Conte Avenue, Jewel Avenue and Kuster Lane, said Mayor John G. Ducey during a recent Township Council meeting.

Bid notices were supplied to 77 prospective bidders from the township bidder’s list, and eight submitted bids ranging from the low winning bid up to $336,490.

The governing body also passed a shared services resolution with BTMUA (Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority) for road resurfacing in Cedarwood Park, which is undergoing water main replacement.

“The policy that we started about seven years ago was, if a utility digs up our roads here in town, they’re responsible for the side-to-side repaving,” the mayor said.

“In the past they were only responsible for patching up the areas where they actually dug up, or maybe they had to do half of the road if it was a pipe, but then you have half the road nicely paved and the other half 30 years old,” he said.

So the roads that are being dug up for water main replacements will be paved side-to-side by the utility, but other roads in the neighborhood that are not impacted by the water main replacement and not getting paved at all will benefit by the shared services agreement.

BTMUA has a contract in place and the township will utilize that contract to expand the scope of roadway resurfacing for the entirety of Laurel Avenue, which connects Drum Point Road and Mantoloking Road.

Herbertsville Deli Demo

In other news, the governing body passed a resolution that authorizes the receipt of bids for the demolition of the structures and to secure the property of the former Herbertsville Deli at 430 Herbertsville Road.

“This resolution is the result of an order issued by our Township Property Maintenance Board,” Mayor Ducey said. “A hearing was held before the Board on February 23, 2022 with no action taken at all by the property owners to comply with the Board’s orders of fixing that place up.”

The Board has ordered the demolition of the unsafe structure and the placement of a lien to recoup all costs, he added.

And finally, Mayor Ducey noted that on the 10th anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, one of the largest impacts the storm had on the township was financial. Brick still hasn’t recovered from the loss in $400,000,000 in tax ratables. The ratables base is still about $100,000,000 less than it was before the storm.

The loss in ratables combined with the debt service and expenditures the township continues to pay for as a result of the storm has placed an extra burden on the taxpayers, he said.

Homes were lost – some that had passed down from many generations – neighborhoods were totally wiped away, and a decade later recovery from the storm is still going on for many, which is very unfortunate, the mayor said.

“A decade later, we have a greater understanding of the burden that living in a coastal community brings, and a greater respect for the dynamic and changing power of the climate,” he said.

Mother Nature can “take it all back” again, so the township will continue to work with the planning and engineering departments to take appropriate mitigating actions and hope that a similar storm never happens again, Mayor Ducey said.

The next council meeting will be on Wednesday (not the usual Tuesday because of Election Day) November 9 at 7 p.m.

The monster coastal storm that battered New Jersey with fierce winds and heavy downpours Sunday night into Monday morning isn’t finished yet. But it already has dumped as much as 4 inches of rain — a whole month’s worth — in some areas of the state.

Preliminary reports from the National Weather Service and the Rutgers NJ Weather Network show widespread areas of 2 to 3 inches of rain, with some places getting drenched with 4 to 5 inches.

All that water arrived just one week after another storm dropped 2 to 4 inches of rain across the region, along with a quick burst of snow in a few northern counties.

Here’s a look at rainfall totals reported as of early Monday morning from the latest storm. (These totals will be updated later Monday when new reports become available. Some towns are listed more than once, because the numbers came from different weather monitoring stations in the same town.)

Re-elected Executive Board members include:

Board member Dave Laganella (Peters Body & Fender; Oakland) will return for another term, and the board welcomed a new member: Ken Miller (821 Collision; North Haledon).

During the special awards ceremony, Tom Elder and Luci Robson presented the Russ Robson Scholarship Award to Gavin Danitz (Compact Kars; Clarksburg). The Stan Wilson/New Jersey Automotive Body Shop of the Year Award went to Dennis Cataldo, Jr. of D&M Auto Body in Old Bridge, and Tom Elder was the recipient of the Lee Vetland Lifetime Achievement Award. Alicia Figurelli, senior vice president of Thomas Greco Publishing, became the second woman to be inducted into the AASP/NJ Hall of Fame.

After Nicole Lewicki of the Amato Insurance Agency (a division of World Insurance) shared a brief update on the AASP/NJ health insurance plan, Bobzin and Stevens took the floor to discuss how ELEVATE by CCC helps shops set goals, monitor trends and make decisions to improve their businesses.

“When I ask a new client, what’s your goal, they don’t tell me ‘to survive,’” said Bobzin. “The goal isn’t to remain flat – they’re looking to grow, or they’re looking to become more attractive for sale. Those higher-level goals need to be broken down into the details, and then your employees need to understand the relationship between these particular goals and their responsibilities within the department.”

In terms of industry trends, Bobzin honed in on decreasing sales opportunities, vendor delays, staff shortages, CSI decreases and ramping up for a return to normalcy. Exploring the most beneficial ways to market to modern customers, Stevens asked, “You guys deserve the same attention that any other industry gets, so why shouldn’t you have the same tools that any other industry gets?”

When discussing vendor delays, Stevens suggested, “The more robust your network of suppliers, the better, and the more you can expand it, the more visibility you’ll have into your market.”

Bobzin broached the importance of supporting local vo-tech schools as he discussed the ongoing staff shortage, but he also pointed out the importance of developing internal talent: “Invest in your people!”

The most important factors in improving CSI include understanding your customer base and keeping them informed, according to Bobzin. “Simple changes can positively influence CSI,” he said.

“It’s important to find out what’s important to your customer,” Stevens added. “Ask your customer what they like best about their car, and then spend an extra minute making sure that works properly for them when they pick their car up.”

The topic of returning to normalcy included the need to dig deeper into cycle time analysis and finding the balance in triage.

“It’s amazing what you all do every day,” Stevens concluded. “I respect that, and I think that, as an industry, you deserve that respect. You’re putting people back in their cars and putting them on the road – that’s a pretty big deal. And we’d love to help you leverage the use of the tools in the products you’re already using.”

After opening remarks from AASP/NJ President Jerry McNee and Executive Director Charles Bryant, the association re-elected Tom Elder (Compact Kars), Mike Kaufmann (Mike Kaufmann Dealer Group) and Tom Greco (Thomas Greco Publishing) to its board of directors for the 2022-2025 term. AASP/NJ also elected Danielle Molina (Perfect Bodies Collision Center, Passaic) to her first term on the board.

Patrick Crome, a Mercer County Vocational School student employed by Compact Kars (Clarksburg), was named the recipient of the Russ Robson Scholarship Award. Paul Sgro (Lee’s Garage, W. Long Branch) took home the New Jersey Automotive/Stan Wilson Body Shop of the Year award, and Mike Kaufmann (Mike Kaufmann Dealer Group) became the newest inductee to the AASP/NJ Hall of Fame. The meeting also served as a forum to make sure members were supplied with information concerning benefits such as the association’s group healthcare plan.

“It’s running like a well-oiled machine,” said Joe Amato, Sr. of the Amato Agency (a division of World Insurance), whose team was on hand to go over plan basics with attendees. The program has been bringing substantial cost savings to shops on their healthcare, which is noted to be the “second largest cost at your shop next to payroll.”

“AASP/NJ is giving its members some control over their health care costs, helping to give them a better experience,” said Terry Gorman from World Insurance.

Audience members also heard from Ken Racioppi and David Johnson (Alliance Payment Solutions) on options to manage credit card surcharge fees as well as Paul Hill (I-CAR), who reviewed positive changes to the training program’s curriculum.

Following the presentations, McNee and fellow board member Ken Miller (821 Collision, North Haledon) led the audience in a town hall discussion, inviting any audience member to speak out about the things that affect them most in their day to day business. The microphone made its way around the room as repairer after repairer shared experiences, issues and solutions.

Robson was president of AASP/NJ when the Garden State Automotive Federation transitioned to AASP/NJ and was well known in the industry for his dedication and training of others. The scholarship award in his honor is presented to a promising young person working in a member shop. This year’s award was presented by Tom Elder, treasurer of AASP/NJ, and Robson’s wife, Luci.

“I was honored to present the vo-tech scholarship award honoring my late husband,” said Luci Robson. “I am proud that he was part of AASP/NJ, an organization which works for the betterment of the collision repair industry.”

Added Elder, “One of the things that Russ was very adamant about was trying to provide training for young people coming into our industry. He taught at a vocational school, and he would tell us, ‘We’re never going to get through this together unless we have trained help.’ Today, I can’t even begin to understand how we’re going to get enough people trained to help with those roles we need filled; between people leaving, retiring, moving on or finding they can make more money at McDonald’s than as skilled labor, it’s very difficult to attract young people to this industry. Russ had the right idea many years ago.

“Russ Robson was our friend, and in his memory, we give away the Russ Robson Award every year. This year hits close to home. My son Jeffrey is here with his son, Gavin – the recipient of this award. So, here we have three generations, and hopefully, Gavin will be involved in our business. Right now, he’s working in our business as a high school senior with excellent grades. This is a very prestigious award, and Gavin, you’ve very much earned this award. Congratulations!”

Danitz was presented with a plaque during the ceremony, and he will also receive scholarship funds to use toward his ongoing education and training in the collision repair industry.

“I’m enjoying my experience working at Compact Kars,” Danitz said. “I’ve been around cars basically my entire life, and I’ve always had a passion for it. I love the working environment, I love working on cars and I love solving problems. I want to continue to better myself, and I’m very honored to have the opportunity to win this award. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
